With the Slack integration, you can start timers, get real-time updates, and keep your team in sync — without leaving Slack.

How to Connect Slack

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Slack in your Mojave workspace.

  2. Click Connect to Slack.

  3. Choose your workspace and authorize the required permissions.

  4. Mojave will confirm the connection and show a success message.

Slash Command Examples

Start tracking time:

/mojave start "Client call with Acme Inc."

Stop current timer

/mojave stop

Notification Types

Mojave can post updates to a public or private Slack channel of your choice:

  • New time entry created

  • Unbilled hours summary (daily or weekly)

  • Invoice overdue

  • User invited or removed

You can manage notification preferences under Settings → Slack Notifications.

Deauthorize or Reconnect

To disconnect the Slack integration:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Slack

  2. Click Disconnect Workspace

To reconnect, follow the same authorization steps as before.

Advanced Setup

Want deeper automation? Use Slack’s Workflow Builder with Mojave webhooks to:

  • Trigger reminders after periods of inactivity

  • Log time automatically from status changes

  • Sync project milestones with calendar events
